Last updated: April 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to all users of NotaryExamPrep.com (the "Service"). We keep this policy straightforward. If something is unclear, email us at contact@NotaryExamPrep.com and we will explain it in plain language.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. We do not require your real name, phone number, or mailing address.

Payment information

When you purchase a subscription, your payment is processed by our third-party payment provider (currently Paddle.com or Lemon Squeezy, as applicable). We do not receive, store, or have access to your full credit card number or banking details. Our payment provider shares with us only the information needed to manage your subscription: transaction ID, amount paid, currency, subscription status, and country of purchase.

Support correspondence

If you contact us by email, we retain the content of your message and your email address so we can respond and follow up if needed.

Email signup

If you subscribe to our email list without creating an account (for example, to receive free practice questions), we collect only the email address you provide.

Information collected automatically

Usage data

When you use the Service, we automatically collect information about how you interact with it. This includes: which questions you answer, whether your answers are correct or incorrect, which study topics you view, your quiz scores and completion rates, and the dates and times you access the Service. We use this data to track your study progress and to generate personalized study recommendations.

Device and browser information

We collect standard technical information transmitted by your browser, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and referring URL. This helps us ensure the Service works correctly and troubleshoot technical issues.
